Hello I have just a quick question.

anyways...

Is there a storyline like in RF1 or RF3?

For most of the time that I've had this game [which has been a short while], I can't seem to figure out if it has a storyline or not!

Some help would be nice.

It does in the 2nd generation.

This is correct. The first generation is just for developing backstory, introducing characters and basic game mechanics, and having your child, which has control for the rest of the game.
