Dewey usage is more of an art than a science LOL. If you've got a lot of crops going, sometimes you just have to accept that he won't get everything, because of when stuff dries out. And if you're working on different soil types, it pays to pay attention to watering order to hope for a good drying pattern...I really like doing the watering, so as long as I haven't utterly overencumbered myself with plants, I just let him do what he does and water the rest.

Of course, once he's really leveled I just wait until fairly late in the day and then hit the stuff he misses. Then I water on Saturday and use Sunday (or a rainy day) as a reset day.
