HM GBC on 3DS VC confirmed? (HMGBC May 16th!!)

It's funny, I woke up this morning thinking about the past and my time with the Harvest Moon franchise. Then it suddenly hit me: In a sense, I'll be reliving 1999 all over again this year with Harvest Moon GB(which I played for much of 1999) once it hits the eShop and then I'll close out the year with the newest installment in the series, which will be A New Beginning (Harvest Moon 64 in 1999).

Oh how I love nostalgia.

I feel much of the same. GBC was my first HM game; I picked it up on a whim while in a mall on a marching band trip in 2000 and got addicted. I remember reading the instruction manual by flashlight on the bus, then popping it in my souped-up GameBoy Color (I had a magnifier with a light on it, plus button enlargers and a battery pack; oh the things you used to have to do to play handheld games in the dark!) and did not even notice the 4 hour ride home. I wanna say I picked up GBC 2 that Christmas as well. I kept the receipt for my GBC 1 purchase for YEARS before it finally faded to the point that you couldn't read it any more, lol.

I'm a little depressed I can't find my cartridge now. I wonder if I can find that box that has all my old game manuals; maybe my GBC manual is in there...

In the latest Nintendo Direct(Still no Animal Crossing), Reggie mentioned that they will upload two virtual console games a week to the eShop. I'm guessing it's going to be sometime next month when these two games hit.

EShop for August 19th is New Super Mario Bros.2 so everyone knows.
Can't remember November's Eshop thing.

Oh also coming out on August 19th is 3DS XL!
Colors announced so far are Red and Blue.
You just know Black will come out though in time and maybe Pink or Purple!

Summer also means more than just July. While it seems that the 8 games for July have already been scheduled, that still leaves August 1st for the two games before their "two games a week" plan ends.

The 12th and 19th are out for sure. The 5th and 26th are still open, though one of the two TBA Sonic games could easily fill those slots.

My guess is if either one is coming on the 5th, we'll hear about it next week.

It's in horrible shape; it was in an old shopping bag along with a bunch of other flattened game boxes in my closet. >_< It's still intact, though. I've got it displayed on my bookshelf now. Didn't find my GBC 1 box or cart, sadly. The hunt continues! (I needed to clean that closet, anyway, lol.)

What does Maria's fortune telling do? I always prayed and got my fortune told every day, but I never knew if it had any kind of relevance to the game. I know the praying can bless your cows (which is another thing; what does that mean, exactly?), but what does a good or bad fortune mean?
