This is a thread for those who need Help/Tips to post questions.
Though who want to help others can post tips here as well. As for myself I seem to be the one who needs help most of the time. I find this link useful www.fogu.com/hm/animal_parade but it pales to the help of friends! Those who need help: Anyone can post for help or leave tips. You don't have to use just fogu to help you. Sometimes asking another player for help is better. Those who help: You can post your own tips. You can post other links aside from fogu to help others. You can answer any questions that are asked.

There a two tips I have that I can give right away.
1. I didn't realize this until later (and I read it when I was having trouble), but you'll want to save one of the Potatoes you have growing on your farm at the very beginning of the game. You'll need it for the Vegetable Pizza that's needed for one of the Theodore's Circus events later. 2. If you're going into the mines, it's always a good idea to carry at least two Bodigizer or Bodigizer XL's. That way you can spend more time in the mine looking for ore and/or wonderfuls. You can always try to hit the mole really fast too. Sometimes he drops Bodigizers. Hope those tips help some!

Recipes I found online listed below.
Bread: Flour, Butter, Milk Herb Fish: Fish and Herb Vegetable Pizza: Pie crust, Cheese, Tomato, Potato, Bell Pepper Made in Oven. For good or better herb fish you need your ingredients to equal 322G or higher.

Yup. When I really got into cooking, I always tried to do that. It took a little bit of practice, but eventually you can do it easily.
In the beginning, it's always good to only have a few crops growing on your farm. Your stamina is about average at the beginning, so you want to pace yourself. Once you find a few Power Berries and have upgraded your tools at least once, you can try growing more.

I have quite a number of recipes written down if you'd like me to post some of them as well.
For some reason I like my handwritten notes for Harvest Moon more than typed ones.

1. To get the Garmon Mine District!
Get Bo's Tools fron the mayor, water your crops, harvest what you can and save 1 potato by putting it in storage than go to bed. Go to the farm and ranch in flute fields as soon as they open, buy decent milk from ranch and decent strawberry from farm, go up the path leading to Garmon Mines, give bo his tools, offer to get him food, give Strawberry and Milk you just bought, go back to farm, water crops, harvest what you can and sell it, than go to bed, next day Bo will come tell you the bridge is fixed! 2. Meeting Harvest Goddess! Talk to everyone in Garmon mine district, try to go to Goddess Pond, Animals will block your path, Talk to Dale, Go to general store, go to Accessory shop, go to Blacksmiths shop, go to mine meet Owen, he gives you a hammer which you will need, exit and reenter mine, go to tenth level, talk to Owen about Cloe having the Animal Whistle, he'll give it to you, go back up and to the path for Goddess Pond, you'll get a cutscreen of you blowing whistle and animals liking it, after that you can go meet the Harvest Goddess and she'll mention the bells! 3. The Red Bell Talk to everyone is Garmon Mine District about the bell. Go into the mine and to level ten, look at the bell frame. You'll have to leave and re-enter garmon mines for this. You'll also need ores for this which you can get in the mines. 1 of each junk, copper, silver, gold, etc. It'll turn out that Cloe is playing with the bell. She'll kick it! Ramsey will tell you about needing ores after Cloe kicks the bell into the chimney of the Blacksmith shop. If you got all the needed ores already just give them to him. You and Cloe will than go outside to watch for the bell flying out of the chimney. You'll meet Alen the fire Harvest spirit and need to go back into the mine and hang the bell on the frame. Hopefully you'll still have the sun out and the bell can be rung, otherwise you'll have to go home and sleep than return to Garmon Mines to ring the bell the next day. All the bells have requirements and must be rung when the sun is up 7 am to 5 pm is the best time. You can't ring a bell in rain or bad weather. 4. Yellow bell You will find this on the beach below your house's district. You need to talk to Harvest goddess and Calvin in Garmon Mine District in order to restore the bell. Calvin will give you a tablet telling where all the Moonstones are. Do not sell the tablet, once you get all 3 moonstones to give moonlight healing the yellow bell find Calvin in or in front of the Inn and give him the tablet back, this will raise your friendship abit. You also have to talk to the farmers in flute fields and go to the frame. Ruth is the one you need to help before you can go to hang the Yellow bell. She'll ask for 10 crops of the current season, you can buy the seeds at her farm shop. Lettuce is the cheapest and easiest one, buy atleast 30 bags of seeds because you need 10 Good or better Lettuce for this task. You can also get your first cow by talking to Cain in the barn of the ranch but you should buy Fodder fresh or have grass growing on your farm first, you can cut the grass for fodder. Anyway once you have the 10 good or better Lettuce go back to Ruth and give them to her. She'll open a gate on the farm that leads back to the yellow frame, hang the bell and ring it. Anessa will return home and give you Tomato seeds (summer crop), save them and plant in summer, save 1 tomato once fully grown for later by putting into storage asap. 5. Blue bell You'll need to talk to Ozzy and Simon first. This bell easy to find once the watery cave is open. It's the one of the 2 still on it's frame. Though the harvest spirit has forgotten the tune! Talk to the Harvest Goddess about this. You'll talk to Simon and Ozzy again. Go find Paolo in the lighthouse and trigger his contraption explaination, he'll draw the missing part on. You'll need 5 fish, a black pearl, and a duck egg for this bell. Once you have them talk to Paolo about setting it up the contraption. Find all the arrows and set the proper item in place. Than talk to Paolo about running the contraption. Once you have finished the cutscreen than go back to watery cave and talk to Ben again. You'll tell him the tune of the bell and he'll ring it. 6. Green bell Perhaps one of the hardest to get. You need to get into fungue forest and find the path to Witch Princess's house. Bring your Axe and Hammer with you! Once through you'll find a frog in place of her. This is when you'll have to go to Wizard's house and meet him. Talk about the missing Witch Princess and the Green Bell. He'll explain that she turned herself into a frog by mistake and ask you to get a few items. One of which you have to take a boat for! There will be alot of cutscreens to activate before you get that item. They envolve dancer girl and her mom.

Last bell to ring is purple.
So here is the deal with it. The purple bell is in the church and on it's frame but you can't access it until the other bells are rung! You might notice clovers on certain people as you befriend them! You'll go to the church and Perry will be scared of a ghost in the bell tower! It's Daren the purple sprite! He is crying and sad because no one goes to the wish room anymore to make wishes and he got lonely! This is the tricky part! You have to talk to the goddess about Daren being sad. She'll say to gather wishes! You gather wishes by befriending the people in the town, field, and mine districts! Once they reach a certain heart level they will openly tell you their wish! As you gather wishes take them to the goddess painting behind the other door in the church! You'll notice the painting become brighter and the paint reappear with each wish! The move wishes you give the brighter the paint becomes until you have all the wishes needed to ring the purple bell! Note that isn't the last thing you need to do to restore the goddess tree though! You'll find the out once all the bells are rung and you go see the harvest goddess again. The next part means climbing Garmon mines when you have a certain rank! This will be revealed by the goddess! Once you have the proper rank do not waste time! Get to the top of Garmon mine asap and call the Harvest King!
